The waitlist keeps one thing: your email address.

This page says what that means, in the same plain words as the rest of the site.

Who holds it

What is kept

• The email address you enter.
• Whether it is waiting for confirmation, confirmed, or unsubscribed.
• When you joined, when you confirmed and when you unsubscribed.
• A hash of the tokens in the links we mail you. The links themselves are never stored.

Why

To send one email asking you to confirm the address, and one email when Quarn is ready. Nothing else: no tracking pixels, no advertising, no sharing, no selling.

Who else touches it

Cloudflare runs this site, stores the database and sends the mail, so it processes the same data on our behalf.

How long

Until you unsubscribe, or, after the launch email, until you ask. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you would rather write, ask privacy@quarn.app and the row is deleted.

Unsubscribe

Use your mail app's unsubscribe button, or open the link at the bottom of any email and press Unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribed, joining again with the same address does not mail you again.
